Time is Running out . . .

Are you Ready?

You are probably a really nice person. Did you know that God doesn't evaluate our lives by how nice we are to others? Instead, He's given us a tool by which He evaluates our actions and life with, called the 10 Commandments. This is what God uses to expose our true inner-being, much like the way we use a mirror to expose our outer-being. Just as we wouldn't leave our house without looking as good as we could, we shouldn't leave this life we are living without making sure we are in good spiritual-condition with God.

Let's see how you are looking right now:

(1) Have you ever told a lie? (2) Have you ever taken something that doesn't belong to you? (3) Have you ever used God's name in vain? Did you know that Jesus says if you've ever lusted after someone you're guilty of committing adultery in your heart. If you're honest with yourself, you can see that in God's eyes you have not been able to live up to these perfect standards. The Word of God tells us we will be accountable before God for the mistakes we have made (James 2:10).

If you could go from "guilty" (which you are if you've failed to live a perfect life) to "not guilty," would that be good news? Jesus told us that God cares for you so much that He has provided a way for this to happen. Jesus said that if you confess your sins to God and turn from sinful living, God will forgive you (1 John 1:7-9), and if you begin living your life for Jesus Christ and obeying Him as Lord, you will be saved! (John 3:36) This is truly Good News!

Jesus said, "Whom the Son of God sets free (from sin and Gods wrath) is free indeed" (John 8:36). How do we allow the on of God to "Set us Free?"

The Bible tells us that "if we confess our sins to God, He is faithful to forgive us of all our sins, and cleanse us from all of our unrighteousness" (1 John 1:7). What a great deal that is! In order for this cleansing to take place, we must then repent (change our heart) and follow God's plan for our life. The Bible tells us that God's plan for our life is to believe, love, and obey His only begotten Son, Jesus. The Bible tells us that "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing Jesus as Lord that you are saved" (Romans 10:9-10).

There is nothing more that God wants for you, or that we would want for you, than for you to begin a new spiritual journey with God today, by receiving His Son Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

By confessing your sins to God, and believing that Jesus Christ died on the cross and resurrected from the dead, you will be saved!

This is how you can be 100% sure that you will go to HEAVEN when you die!

If this is something that you would like to take part in, you can say the following prayer and begin your spiritual journey with God immediately.

"Dear God, I want to begin a new life with You today. I realize that I can no longer do things my way. I want to be forgiven of my sins, and place my trust in Your Son Jesus. I believe in my heart that Jesus died on the cross for my sins, and that He raised from the dead on the third day. Please forgive me for my sins, and save me. From this day forward, I put my trust in your plan for my life. Amen"

If you just received Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we want to help you get started on your spiritual journey. The first step is to tell others about your decision. Jesus tells us, "Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 10:32-33).

The next step is simple as well! You need to grow in your love for God and your love for other people. Jesus told us the Greatest Commandment that God has given to His children is to "Love the Lord your God with all of your heart, with all of your soul, and with all of your mind"... and the second is; "You shall love your neighbor as yourself" (Matthew 22:37-49). It is that simple, by continually growing in your love for God and for other people, you will be living a life that pleases God and causes you to become more like Jesus.

If you just received Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we would love to hear from you, so that we can help you get started on your new Spiritual journey. God Bless you!
